Glimmer Janitorial is a luxury cleaning company expanding proudly into Texas, founded by industry expert and lifelong perfectionist Katie Welsh.
Katie has dedicated nearly 20 years to the cleaning industry, building highly successful, award-winning cleaning businesses, training thousands of cleaners worldwide, and setting the standard for what commercial cleaning can and should be. She’s recognized globally as one of the industry's most respected voices, known for her obsessive attention to detail, her signature training systems, and her unwavering standards.
Glimmer Janitorial isn’t a franchise. It’s a family-run operation with a national reputation—and a local owner who is hands-on, involved, and deeply committed to delivering excellence.
We don’t do everything. We do a few things flawlessly: Daily janitorial. Medical facility cleaning. Showhome cleaning.
And we manage every aspect of the service—from checklists to quality checks to client communication—with precision, discretion, and polish.
Our team is made up of career cleaners: uniformed professionals, trained in-house, and trusted to deliver consistent results at the highest level. We use top-of-the-line equipment, eco-conscious products, and a carefully managed system that ensures nothing is missed.

How we started
In 2008, I was fed up with toxic products, unprofessional or unreliable cleaning companies. So I started my own, determined to DO BETTER.
After growing my first cleaning company to Edmonton’s “Best Cleaning Service," I took a break and went into business consulting and teaching.
I have had the pleasure of presenting to other cleaning business owners at various industry events in Canada and the USA, and my online school, Glisten Academy, offers courses and programs to cleaning professionals all over the world.
In 2019, I began offering luxury cleaning services again and became the top choice of high-profile clients. During the pandemic, my family and I moved to the Toronto area, finally settling on Sarnia, where we became more focused on industrial cleaning.
I now have professional cleaning teams all over the Lambton County and Chatham-Kent areas, and we would love to provide you with the most professional, exceptional cleaning services too!
